Helping People (and Business) Do Better! The production and operations function, typically referred to as Operations Management exists in every organization and involves those activities directly responsible for the creation of goods and/or services, the outputs/products of the organization. But how does the right product get to the right place, at the right time, in the right condition, and at the right cost? That’s Logistics and Supply Chain Management! During this session students will learn the definitions of Operations Management, and Logistics and Supply Chains, their importance in business, the impact of supply chain interruptions, and how Aviation fits into and interacts with the overall operations management and logistics field. Come learn more about Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Management, and Aviation Logistics as a major.

Come learn how to make your ideas into reality as an Entrepreneurship major. Interested in International Business and/or Interested in several areas of Business? Come learn about the Business Integrated Studies degree plan. This is a unique degree plan that can combine several areas of interest to increase your marketability in the job market. Come learn more about Organizational Behavior and Humans Resource Management as a major, if you think you are good with people, want to make policies for the future, make job descriptions for an organization, negotiate on the job, identify training gaps and needs, train and coach people, make employee handbooks, make employee benefit plans, create compensation plans and handle employee data. If you’re passionate about the business of sport entertainment, the Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Integrated Studies, Sport Entertainment Management track is your ticket to an exciting career in this fast-paced industry. This program has formal partnerships with the Dallas Cowboys and the PGA of America, and maintains strong relationships with the Dallas Mavericks, FC Dallas, the Dallas Sports Commission, Learfield IMG College, Texas Rangers, the Dallas Stars, and a multitude of minor league franchises throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Collectively, they will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the industry through class projects, internships and guest speakers. Not only will you receive a first-hand look at ‘best practices’, since this degree is available through UNT’s College of Business, you’re guaranteed a world-class business education.


Sales: The Sky’s the Limit

During this session students will learn about what is marketing and its focus – consumer needs and wants, and how firms meet these needs and wants through product, price, promotion and distribution. They will also learn about how marketing fits in with other business functions to create value for the firms, consumers, and society. In terms of career, a marketing graduate could find jobs in several subfields such as sales, advertising, retailing, distribution, and brand management. Also, if you are seeking a business career where you can earn

$100,000+ within three years after graduating, then consider a BBA in Marketing with a Concentration in Professional Selling. Selected students explore the world of business-to-business marketing, advanced sales techniques and sales analytics in the classroom and then secure hands-on experience with a paid internship at one of DFW’s leading companies.
